Guide to Madrid Hostels

Only in the historical centre of Madrid there are about fifteen hostels. Most of them are housed in historic buildings, so the rooms are not very large. Dorms have approximately 6-8 beds and shared bathroom. Services are of good quality and include Wi-Fi connection, the possibility of booking double rooms, individual lockers and often air conditioning. The basic price for a hostel in Madrid is 17-20 Euros for a bed in a dormitory and 40-50 Euros for a double room.

Madrid Hostel (not Hostal that are guesthouses), are an excellent choice for all types of travellers, individuals, families or groups, and feature a 24/24 reception service. Several hostels, as well as providing a shared kitchen, offer continental breakfast with a few extra Euros.
