Cheap Hotels in Split

There are not so many cheap hotels in Split where to book a double room for less than € 100 per night, especially in the period between June and September, but they are equally distributed between the old town and around the harbor, in the area near the station and along the way that leads to the southern coastal road towards Stobrec and Podstrana.

These are all large, newly built medium-high standard 2- and 3- star hotels. Instead, during low season, from April to May, budget hotels in Split are decidedly more inexpensive, with prices between € 50 and € 60 for a double room. Unlike in the high season, from late July through August, it is very difficult to find double rooms for less than € 100 and the minimum price, regardless of the hotel type, often exceeds € 130/140 per night for hotels in the port area or anyway close to the sea.

Most of the cheap hotels in Split feature a 24/7 reception, Internet access and simple but comfortable rooms, furnished with care and frequently featuring en-suite bathrooms.
